Samantha Rowland FRICS

Samantha is an experienced Senior Director specialising in Healthcare and Senior Living in the UK and Europe. She has extensive experience and knowledge across all healthcare properties (senior living, care homes, primary care) for both investment and owner operated assets including new developments and provides consultancy, transactional and valuation advice for both private and institutional clients together with research reports and expert witness work.

She has proven ability to tackle complex strategic reviews, technical challenges and advise new and existing entrants on the market. Determined to make strategic and tough decisions to achieve business success. Hands-on experience of strategic implementation, establishment of new sub subsectors, portfolio reviews and new developments.

Samantha is a presenter at conferences and provides articles and commentary for various trade, property and mainstream press articles and publications. A former Chair of the RICS Trade Related Valuation Group, and RICS APC Assessor and a member of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors. RICS Registered Valuer and co-authored the RICS Information Paper on the Valuation of Healthcare Properties in the UK. Appointed a Fellow of the RICS in December 2014. Recognised in the HealthInvestor Power 50 for both 2023 and 2024 as one of the most effective, inspiring and influential leaders in health and social care. Mentor for RICS APC graduates for the last 15 years and interview preparation. Board member for Women in Retirement Living (WiRL). British Property Federation Healthcare Committee member.
